I once had the privilege of raising a young bushbaby that had fallen from a den in our roof. Up close, their character becomes impossible to ignore. They study the world endlessly, tilting their heads and widening those remarkable eyes as though every new discovery deserves careful thought.
It is that moment of wonder I wanted to capture. The curiosity shared between two small creatures and one very cautious insect.
A quiet reminder that the bushveld is not only defined by its giants, but by the countless small encounters unfolding beneath them.
