We know lions carry a powerful and majestic aura around them. They are symbols of strength and leadership in many cultures and countries. In reality, they like to sunbathe and rest for most of the day. Lions spend up to 21 hours a day just lazing around or sleeping.
I would be lying if I said I wasn’t envious of this! I wanted to capture that feeling of content, which is in such contrast to how we see these ‘kings’ and apex predators. Even the mighty lion knows to rest and be at peace when you can.
Maybe the king has a point…
